Our Motto
Sorry but this news section will not give out too many spoilers. I personally would want to see the movie with out being spoiled. Yet, I want to know about what is going on certain rumors that float around the net. And we all know that Lucas has been hinting that he might sent out fake news to misinform people. So we want to give you enough information to be satisfied yet not enough to leave you disappointed on the film.

Official Site Update. This is some of the stuff that they added while I was gone that was posted on the official site.
And now quick word from Lucas.

It seems to be common to see one-sheet posters for characters in films. They have used it for Toy Story, Jackie Brown (I just love my Sam Jackson poster) and Batman Forever. I can't wait to get the see the Darth Maul poster.
Here is their second part to animatic, and how they are used to make the film.

Animatics Part 2

Lucky kid.Ryan Thudhope was chosen strait out of high school to work on Episode 1 animatics. The Official site decides to do a profile on the kid and his work. In the profile there is a picture of his Computer Monitor. There you can see some CG work, is that the submarine in the trailer? And is that Naboo? Check it out.

The Official site profiles Ben Burt. If you are a Star Wars fan you have to appreciate what Ben Burt has given us, the unforgettable sounds of the Tie Fighters, the voice of Jabba and even the loveable voice of R2.

Another great Lynn Hale Video Diary, this time it is the assistant directors. I always thought all they did was fetch water and walk the dog of the Director. On this video diary we get to glimpse of the actor performing stunts while the crew is filming them (remember how they teased us with that on the 3 diary?). You have to love Ewan McGregor for using unnecessary profanity, just check it out.

Mos Espa is selling to the Denver Star Wars Convention. Check out this great image of Darth Maul.

And if you notice the official site has changed the main Episode 1 page images. When you enter it randomly picks one out of three different designs. There is Anakin Skywalker, Mace Windu and Darth Maul. Each one has it's own Icons, background, little scene from the film and a quote. I have taken screen captures of all 3 different displays. As you can see there is an advantage of a high-resolution monitor. Just enjoy the images.

Darth Maul display 1005 x 599 320.7 k
Mace Windu display 1005 x 599 294 k

Editor's Note. I am not going to be as up to date as I was before; I have to work hard in school. I will try my best for all you die hard Stars Wars fans. Tomorrow I will post up the unconfirmed images.

Reason for delay in updating - Victor, the maintainer of this site, has been having computer has computer problems for the past few few weeks. He got a new motherboard for his computer, but things aren't working properly with it. He is unable to go online, and he says "Sadly I've heard news on TV, but I'm unable to post the info to my site". We are sorry for not being able to provide you with the newest info, but he hope to be back updating soon.
