What we know about his character

Well, from interviews Sam says that he has only 6 pages he had to work with. In the scenes that he appears he costars with Yoda. And he gets to say the unforgettable line; "May the Force be with you."

Although the official site and the Star Wars Insiders have not confirmed it but it seems that Sam's character name is Mace Windu. The name was in television and magazine advertisements and appeared in the back of the Episode 1 Preview Figure (Stap with Battle Droid). Here is the back of the Episode 1 Preview Figure packaging for SirSteve's Guide to the Star Wars Universe.

Episode 1 Toy Commercials. SirSteve's Guid to Star Wars is back in the headlines, this time he has images of the new Episode 1 figure commercials that have been running. I have not seen them yet, but SirSteve says that they are out right now. So keep your eye out for them. The site, KellyB1138 homepage, that SirSteve got these images said this about the commercial.

10/21/98 Here are three screen shots of the Kenner commercial for Mace Windu. The first is obvious with the new logo design for POTF, but in red not green like usual. The second shows a full body shot of Mace Windu. Two figures are in the shadows. I'm pretty sure that the one on the left is Obi-Wan Kenobi. The one on the right is unknown to me. I think it's Qui-Gon Jin, but that's just a guess. The third shot is a close up of Mace. Very Cool.

"A Respected Jedi Master and a senior member of the Jedi Council Mace Windu wields a great deal of authority throughout the Galactic Republic. He is well aware of the dangers of the Sith."
Commtech: "I do not believe the Sith could have returned without us knowing." ; "We will sicover the identity of your attacker." ; And "May the Force be with you."

About Samuel L Jackson

What can I say about Sam? .... I love him! This guy is the coolest mother F**ker working in Hollywood. This is from seeing his films, seeing him interviews and hosting the 1998 MTV Movie Awards. I guess I first noticed him in Do The Right Thing (I am a big fan of Spike Lee), at first I didn't notice much, he seems to be just a small actor. And that's the impression you got at first, he seemed to just be doing small parts. But what really surprised me is how much film he has made, and how in each film he seemed to be doing a different character. He played an unforgettable crack head in Jungle Fever, a Gangster in Goodfelles, and raptor meat in Jurassic Park. But I think I remember him most in the bigger acting roles he got. Where he really stood out from the rest of the cast, National Lampoon's Loaded Weapon 1.... Nah, I mean Amos and Andrew. A simple comedy when Nicolas Cage was still doing comedy and playing a character pretty much the same as he did in Razing Arizona. If you haven't seen it suggest you go and rent it. Soon he got an unforgettable break through role as Jules in Pulp Fiction. From then on everyone wanted to work with him. What I most enjoy about him is his attitude. He looks like the nicest guy in the world. Of course you could arguer because he mostly plays bad guys and serious guys in movies. But when you see him in like the MTV Movie Awards or in interviews he looks like a guy who you could hang out and chill with.

My Favorite Samuel L Jackson movies... you could also say my favorite performances by Sam. Well, I loved him in Pulp Fiction, The Great White Hype, Jackie Brown, Eve's Bayou, 187, and Jungle Fever.
