For over eight centuries, Yoda has been a Jedi Master of the highest order. A senior Jedi of the twelve-member Jedi Council, he holds a position equal in importance to Mace Windu’s. The Wise Yoda is highly respected throughout the galaxy. When he meets Anakin Skywalker, he determines that the boy is too old to begin Jedi training. Years later, Yoda will teach Anakin’s son, Luke, the ways of the Force.
