We have seen them in action on the planet Endor being used by Imperial Scout Troops. Two were then captured by the Rebels, Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia.      Speeder Bikes have the capacity to move at incredible land speeds, making them a great reconnaissance craft. The bike is steered by the pilot with controls on the bike's handgrips. The foot pedals regulate speed and the controls on the front of the saddle are for parking the bike, firing weapons, communications and energy recharging. The military speeders have armor plating and blaster cannons.
