With two wing mounted pivoting laser cannons, a targeting computer, and concussion missle launchers it becomes a great escort vehicle for larger vessels. It has a fast speed to go after newly arriving enemy ships, and missle launchers to knock out large enemy ships.      The A-Wing was developed secertly during the early days of the Rebellion.It has countermeasers and power-jamming packages to stop enemy missiles.After use of this type of Craft it has been concluded that this ship is better for "Hit and Run" attacks instead of escort duty. The A-Wing was primarily used in the Battle of Endor and it was an A-Wing that destroyed the Super Star Destroyer Executor.
